I am professor at the Chair of Financial Management at the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau since October 2021. 

I hold a Ph.D. in finance from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and also worked as a postdoctoral researcher (Akademischer Rat) in the same institution from 2018 until 2021. 

My research focuses mainly on empirical asset pricing, behavioral finance, and quantitative finance. I am particularly noted for applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in asset pricing and other financial applications. I am affiliated with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), more specifically with the Department of Data Science and its Applications (DSA). My mission as a researcher is to make the markets fairer and more efficient. 

Before joining the TUM, I worked in the financial markets as a portfolio manager and as a stockbroker.
